Terms of purchase
Everything you need to know about conducting business with 3D Tails (and probably some you don't need to know). The terms and conditions apply between you as the orderer (customer) and me as the seller (company).

General

Purchase information

To shop with me you must be 18 years old (sorry kids). If you are under 18 years of age, you can shop together with or with the approval of a guardian.

When you shop via the internet, the Act on Consumer Purchases and Distance Contracts applies. This law protects you as a consumer when you shop remotely. Read more at the Swedish Consumer Agency.

​

 

3D Tails reserves the right to make changes to the assortment and has the right to remove items from the assortment before a purchase has gone through. I reserve the right to final sale of goods. All attempts at fraud are reported to the police. I reserve the right to cancel a purchase if fraud is suspected.

Order confirmation

When you have placed your order, you will receive an email with an order confirmation. There you see what you bought with prices and shipping costs. No weirdness. If your order contains made-to-order items, you will receive an estimated delivery time for your shipment. If something is wrong with the order, please contact me as soon as possible. I will also send a notification when the item has been shipped, with a trackable ID.

Prices

The prices are in Swedish kronor. VAT is included on all goods at 25%, 12%, 6% or 0%. All prices are shown including VAT on the website.


I reserve the right to price changes without warning on any incorrect prices and to cancel orders where goods with incorrect prices appear. You will be notified if you purchased an item at an incorrect price.

Misprints, product images and product information

I reserve the right for any typographical errors in texts on this website. I do not guarantee that all images accurately reflect the actual appearance of the products regarding, for example, colors and shades. The color you see on my website depends on the color setting you are using on the device you are browsing from. 3D Tails therefore cannot guarantee that the color you see on the product on my website corresponds to the actual color of the product.

 

Measurements given on the website in, for example, the size guides for wearable accessories are approximate values ​​to give you an idea of ​​fit and size and are therefore not a definitive guarantee of the actual measurements of the product.

 

Of course, I always strive to reproduce as accurate information as possible about the product.

Method of payment

Card payment (Stripe)

Pay directly with a debit or credit card. These cards are currently accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB and China UnionPay. You can also use Apple Pay or Google Pay.

PayPal

PayPal offers several payment methods, e.g. credit and debit cards, PayPal balance and bank transfers.

Cashfree

3D Tails does not handle cash and therefore cannot offer it as a payment option.

Shipping & Delivery

National deliveries

I currently only deliver to Sweden and I offer several delivery methods for my customers, which you can read more about here.

Order items

I have a lot of fun stuff in stock, but some of my products are made to order, which means that delivery times are longer. It is written on the product page.

​

In your order confirmation, you will also receive a message that your order contains ordered goods and an estimated delivery time.

​​

Please note that I do not ship parts of an order even if some of your items are in stock. Everything is shipped when the entire order is complete.

​

Delay in delivery

If for any reason I cannot deliver your order on time, I will inform you of this. If possible, I will also inform you of the reason for the delay and of the new delivery time. In case of delivery delays from third parties, you can choose to get the money back (cancel the order) or a new item delivered. Contact me and I will help you with questions about your delivery.

Transport damage

If you discover that your package is damaged upon delivery, it is important to take a photo of the package before contacting the carrier. Contact me and I will help you with a complaint with the shipping company.

​

Unclaimed packages

If your package is not picked up on time, you will be charged the shipping fee again to receive your order. That would be super boring, so don't forget your package!

The right of withdrawal

Open purchase

The right of withdrawal is valid for 30 days from the day you receive your package.

​

If you want to return your product, let me know here that you regret your purchase. You must handle the return (shipping) yourself and it is important that you first notify me of this by email.

​

Please note that the right of withdrawal does not cover custom-made goods, for example custom-made door hangers with your own text or ordered accessories. Read the terms "Commissions & offers" further down this page for more information.

 

Returns

The item must be returned in unaltered condition in the original packaging for a full refund - this means that any packaging, product front pages, information sheets and other accessories must be intact and sent in together with the product when returned. If you do not meet these requirements, I reserve the right to make a depreciation deduction of up to 100% of the amount to be refunded. You are responsible for the item until I receive it. The refund will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day I received your message that you have canceled the purchase. However, I reserve the right to withhold the refund until I have received the item back from you or until you have submitted proof that you have returned the item (such as a delivery receipt from the carrier), whichever occurs first.

The money is transferred via the payment method you chose to use for your purchase. If you have purchased goods via gift card, you can only receive gift cards in return and not money. 3D Tails may apply depreciation deductions if the return has not been handled correctly according to the conditions I mentioned above or has not reached me within a reasonable time.

Complaint

Faulty product

I do my best to deliver your items flawlessly. Despite this, have you received a product that does not match the description or an item that does not measure up? Let me know as soon as possible here! I want your case within a reasonable time, but no later than 8 days after you receive your order.

Of course, I follow the Consumer Purchase Act and complaints within 3 years from the date of purchase are processed according to this. In other words, you shop safely!

If it has been more than 2 years since the purchase, you as the customer need to prove that it is a production error and not a handling error.

​

Refund

The refund will be made without undue delay and in any case no later than 14 days from the day on which I received your message that you have canceled the purchase. However, I reserve the right to withhold the refund until I have received the item back from you or until you have submitted proof that you have returned the item (such as a delivery receipt from the carrier), whichever occurs first.

The money is transferred via the payment method you chose to use for your purchase. According to the right of complaint, I will refund all your costs related to the purchase of the product in the event of an approved complaint.

Commissions & offerts

General

  1. Please try to give me all the information and ideas about the project before I start working on it. Any additional changes (usually major) after the first quote may be charged extra.

  2. You can request priority from the project for within a certain deadline. Depending on how time sensitive it is, an additional fee will be charged. I can refuse priority if I don't think it's possible to make it in time.

  3. When I send a sketch, I expect you to take a good look and correct any mistakes I've made. We both want your idea to be realistic but I'm not a mind reader.

  4. I will show you sketches and models of the project. When I say it is the final sketch/model, changes cannot be made without extra charge.

  5. "WIPs" will be made and sent to you. Please let me know if you don't want to see any or just fewer of them.

  6. The project may not be 100% according to your vision, but I will do my best. Imperfections can happen, the human factor can weigh in, and machines can't do everything.

  7. I reserve the right to market and sell the product to others after you have ordered the product. If so, you will be entitled to some refund to offset the new sale price.

  8. I can refuse to provide a quote for any reason.

Cancellation & refunds

  1. You can cancel a project and get 100% of the money back, as long as I haven't started any work. I will inform you when I start the work.

  2. Refunds are only eligible if I have not started printing the project.

  3. A refund of up to 50% is possible from the time I started sketching, until the printing process is ready to begin. This depends on how far into the project I am.

  4. I can cancel the project at any time for any reason. A full refund will be made in that case.

  5. If a project is cancelled, I reserve the right to use any sketches, models or prints in any way I see fit.

Payment

  1. 50% of the total price must be paid before any work begins. The remaining 50% must be paid before the final product is distributed or shipped.

  2. If you file a chargeback against me without my written permission, I will be forced to contest it. You will forever be denied doing business with 3D Tails again.

Miscellaneous

Guidelines for custom products

I follow Swedish legislation and reserve the right not to produce material that is considered illegal, offensive, threatening, harmful or otherwise objectionable. This also includes content that may infringe any party's intellectual property rights.

Offers and Outlet

For campaigns and offers on my products, the communicated end date applies, or while stocks last if no end date for the campaign has been specified.

Mail from 3D Tails

Sometime after you receive your order, I will send you an email asking you to evaluate your purchase experience, as well as leave a review of the products you purchased. You are not obligated to respond to this evaluation, but I would greatly appreciate it so that I can improve my site, my products, and to create an even better customer experience.

Safe to shop with me

All transactions via Klarna are sent via SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and 3D-Secure. 3D-Secure is a standard developed by VISA and MasterCard to securely validate the consumer when purchasing online. In other words, you shop safely with me.

Force majeure

3D Tails is exempt from penalty for failure to perform certain obligations under this agreement, if the failure is based on an extenuating circumstance as set forth below and the circumstance prevents, hinders or delays performance. A liberating circumstance shall be considered to be an action or omission by the authorities, new or amended legislation, conflict in the labor market, blockade, fire, flood, sabotage, major accident or other type of natural disaster. Force majeure includes authority decisions that affect the market and products negatively, e.g. restrictions in indication, warning texts, sales bans, etc., abnormal decline in the market, and if the company is exposed to criminal activity that affects the business.

In case of dispute

In the event of a dispute, I primarily refer to the General Complaints Board's recommendations. Contact them via their website www.arn.se or ARN, Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm. In the case of cross-border e-commerce, you can proceed with your case via the EU's joint site for dispute resolution, which examines disputes arising from cross-border e-commerce.
